All metallic components
of the subrack UNIVERSAL are corrosion protected through
chromating, providing electrical conductivity between all
mating surfaces.
To reach a higher protection class, perforated cover plates
can alternatively be bolted on, or they can be slid in between
front and rear profiles.
The decorative flanges, used on mounting angle also contribute
a higher protection class.

Wall
mounting can be accomplished by assembling subracks with the
flange to the rear. An extensive range of accessories for this
system offers both, an ideal, and a universal solution for the
packaging of electronics.
The Universal subrack is available in 42 up to 144 hp in 3u
and 6u in depths of 160, 220, and 280 mm.
